What This Article Covers
This guide explains what server and file access options are available for your staging site, and how to get your credentials if you or your developer need them.
Getting Your Server Credentials
Your server access credentials were included in your setup email. If you can't find that email, need your credentials resent, or aren't sure what you received, contact support and we'll send them to you securely.
Your Access Options
Your hosting plan does not include a traditional control panel like cPanel. Here's what's available instead:
- SSH (recommended for developers): Secure command-line access to your server files. Credentials are in your setup email.
- FTP/SFTP: File transfer access for uploading or downloading files without the command line. Contact support if you need FTP credentials.
- Database access: Direct database access is available but requires technical setup. Contact support and we can assist or handle it for you.

Common Questions
- I don't know if I need SSH or FTP. Which should I use?
If you're not sure, you probably don't need either right now. Most staging work happens inside the WordPress admin area. If your developer needs server access, share this article with them and they'll know which option fits.
- I never received my server credentials.
Contact support and we'll send them again right away.
