For clients that use our Cloud Sites website hosting product there are some exciting changes coming in January 2018.
Our upstream email hosting provider will be automatically upgrading all 1 GB mailboxes to 25 GB beginning early January 2018.
The cost for these upgraded mailboxes is $3/month/mailbox and will be automatically billed in January 2018.
We will send out a list of your current mailboxes soon so that you can decide if you want to keep them or transition them to 'aliases'.

Q. Can we stay on the 1 GB mailboxes instead of upgrading?
A. Unfortunately, no. Our provider is no longer offering 1 GB mailboxes. Everyone will be upgraded in January 2018.
Q. Why the increase?
A. With industry changes comes increasing costs of security software, storage, and new product features. Due to these costs, we can no longer offer Premium Business Email for free. You will find that our pricing is not only in line with industry standards but is priced to be competitive.
Q. When will I receive an invoice?
A. We will be sending out invoices on or around February 1, 2018 pro-rated to your next web hosting invoice. After that, invoices will be billed along with your hosting invoice.
Q. Do I get any mailboxes for free with my hosting plan?
A. Yes! Depending on your hosting plan you get 1 or more mailboxes for free. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to review your hosting plan.
Q. Will my email settings, URL, password, or other settings change?
A. No, the upgrade will be seamless and you will not have to change any settings on any device.
Q. How do I know if I'm on "Cloud Sites Hosting"?
A. When we created your account we sent you details on how to sign in to your control panel. If your control panel looks like https://manage.websitesettings.com or https://websitesettings.com then you are using our Cloud Sites hosting product.
Q. How can we see how many mailboxes we have on our account?
A. Please sign in to https://mycpsrvr.com or contact us at email@example.com if you don't remember your username/password.
Q. We have a lot of mailboxes. Do you offer a volume discount?
A. Yes, please submit a request or email firstname.lastname@example.org for details. You must have at least 25 mailboxes to qualify for volume pricing.
Q. What are my options for switching a 'full' mailbox to an 'alias'?
A. Let's say that you have a mailbox called email@example.com that you would like to switch to an alias to save money. If you want to keep all of the emails in firstname.lastname@example.org then you will have to either back them up to your local computer, copy them to your primary email (we can help), or simply abandon them (for cases where you already have a copy in your primary or other email account).
Q. Is there a cost for the additional add-ons?
A. Yes, there is an additional cost for mobile sync, archiving, Microsoft Exchange, and cloud drive. Please contact us if you would like to purchase any of these upgrades.
Q. Will there be a disruption to my email?
A. No, there will not be a disruption in email service. The ability to send/receive within your email client or webmail interface will remain unchanged.
Q. Why wouldn’t I just go back to free email from another provider?
A. Today more than ever, professionals need quality Business Premium Email service. The days of getting guaranteed deliverability from free email are over. And what professionals have known for years is that business emails that end in @gmail.com or @yahoo.com don’t get opened or responded to like they did when those services first started.
Q. Can I switch all of my addresses to aliases?
A. At this time we are unsure if you can switch all of your addresses to aliases but we are fairly sure that the answer is "yes". For example, if you have email@example.com as a full mailbox we can delete the mailbox and create an alias for firstname.lastname@example.org which will automatically forward all email to email@example.com. You won't be able to respond as "firstname.lastname@example.org" but you will receive all notices.
Q. I see an "admin@" email address that I don't use?
A. The admin@ email address was likely created so that we can help manage your account. We will automatically change the admin@ address into an alias for you.
